Collection 17:

Alternatives for Naqsh_e rostam

In this collection of the “Post-Futurist” project, the historical site of Naghsh-e Rostam, which is a kind of collection of Achaemenid and Sassanid tombs, has been designed.
There are four tombs inside the rocks in this complex: Darius the Great, Darius II, Xerxes and Ardashir I, as well as the Kaaba of Zoroaster, which is probably the tomb of Cambyses, son of Cyrus the Great.

In this series of “futuristic” projects, I have tried to challenge the formal capabilities of Naghsh-e Rostam, regardless of its function, and to imagine different alternatives. In fact, the purpose of these images is to practice alternative thinking in ancient sites, which helps to change it based on contemporary concepts.

This exercise is only for new ideas and has no real aspect and does not pursue the purpose of creation.
